How can artificial intelligence (AI) support legal research? This was one of the key topics at the Autumn Conference of the Working Group for Legal Library and Documentation Services (AjBD), held on 28-29 November 2024, at the Göttingen State and University Library (SUB Göttingen).

Anke Losch, Senior Digital Product Manager at Wolters Kluwer Germany, presented the innovative potential of AI in legal research. She introduced GPT summaries on Wolters Kluwer Online, highlighting their role in simplifying complex legal texts, and discussed ongoing AI projects with 70 industry professionals and academics in attendance.

Anke also took the opportunity to present the DataBri-X project, underscoring its relevance to the legal library and documentation sector. This collaboration with AjBD, a leading interest group for legal libraries, documentation, and information systems in German-speaking countries, demonstrates how DataBri-X fosters connections with key industry associations to drive innovation.
