On April 20, 2023, the project partner International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) organised the “Tech Talk: IDS Reference Architecture Model – the standard for sovereign data sharing”. The Webinar speakers focused the attention on the International Data Spaces (IDS) Reference Architecture, as well as how IDSA maintains the Reference Architecture Model (IDS-RAM). 

In more detail, the IDS-RAM, is a practitioner-oriented guide to designing and implementing architectures for data spaces, The RAM is both, an introduction to software and a handbook of well-established best practices. The RAM layer structure and relevant requirements were presented, while describing data assets and processes. In addition, the speakers elaborate their discussions on access and security aspects to explain how data usage control can affect multiple layers. With this intention, the DataBri-X project was also presented, aiming to explain how the project will follow governance processes and IDSA standards and recommendations.
