The “Tech Talk | Data usage control – indispensable to enable data sovereignty” IDSA Webinar was powered by DataBri-X, on June 1st, 2023. 

Data sovereignty is a key success factor for data-driven business models. In the International Data Spaces, we provide solutions to realize secure and trustworthy data sharing as well as data sovereignty. Data usage control and data provenance are conceptual and technological solutions to cope with data sovereignty challenges.

In the Tech Talk, IDSA presented the implementation of data usage control in the International Data Spaces as well as possible integration layers and its integration with the IDS Reference Architecture Model. The IDS Usage Control Object was presented as a way to transfer usage control metadata between connectors.
