Successful Semantic Interoperability in Data Spaces Workshop supported by DataBri-X
On October 1, 2024, the 3rd edition of the Semantic Interoperability in Data Spaces Workshop was successfully held at the Danubius Hotel Arena in Budapest, Hungary. The workshop focused on innovative solutions for seamless semantic interoperability across data spaces.
The event opened with a session highlighting the importance of data interoperability, followed by a keynote on data policy’s role in fostering innovation. A presentation of findings from the BDVA Paper on Interoperability was given, along with insights from the IDSA Position Paper on Semantic Interoperability.
A series of lightning talks from experts showcased innovative projects, and a fishbowl discussion facilitated engaging conversations on semantic interoperability and industry-specific activities.
Organized by ERCIM, IDSA, Semantic Web Company (SWC), and BDVA, the workshop received support from champI4.0ns, GLACIATION EU, DataBri-X, UNDERPIN project, and VELES.
