Paper presented at ICDE 2024 by DataBri-X partner IMDEA
We are thrilled to announce that the paper “FreqyWM: Frequency Watermarking for the New Data Economy” was presented at the International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE 2024) in May 2024 by our partner IMDEA, a key collaborator in the DataBri-X project.
This groundbreaking research introduces an innovative technique for modulating the appearance frequency of specific tokens within a dataset to encode an invisible watermark. This method is pivotal for protecting ownership rights over data, making it an essential tool for contemporary data marketplaces.
Key highlights of the work include:
- Optimal and Fast Heuristic Algorithms: For creating and verifying these watermarks.
- Robustness: Demonstrated resilience against various attacks with analytical bounds for false positives.
- Versatility: Applicable to both single-dimensional and multidimensional datasets, offering fine control over introduced distortions.
