DataBri-X was presented at the "Data Spaces Symposium & Deep-Dive Day | Building the future – benefit together"
On March 22 2023, DataBri-X was presented at the “Data Spaces Symposium & Deep-Dive Day | Building the future – benefit together” by Dr. Stelios Sartzetakis (project coordinator) from Athena Research Centre (ARC), Ms. Olga Galanets (Senior IT Project Manager) from the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), and Mr. Konstantinos Oikonomou from Nova Telecommunications Single Member SA (NOVA).
The Symposium took place between 21 and 23 of March 2023 in the Hague, the Netherlands, and it was:
- Hosted by the Center of Excellence for Data Sharing and Cloud, International Data Spaces Association, the Basic Data Infrastructure network, and the Data Spaces Support Centre
- Boosted by the Data Spaces Business Alliance
- Organized together with EUHubs4Data and MyData Global
The whole agenda for three days focuses on the latest developments in the field of data spaces data governance, and data privacy. The symposium features high-level keynote speeches, in-depth panel discussions, and inspiring presentations by leading experts and practitioners from the data spaces landscape.
The three-day event provided an exclusive platform for researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, share their research findings, and discuss the latest trends and challenges in the field of Data Sovereignty. The event offered a unique opportunity to connect with members of the data spaces community, as well as to gain in-depth insights from key stakeholders in government and industry. Amongst other topics, European tech sovereignty, the implications of Data Sharing, how Data Spaces look across various domains, and how the Data Spaces Support Centre can provide support and guidance were discussed in-depth.
