DataBri-X attended the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF22)!

EBDVF brings together industry professionals, business developers, researchers and policymakers from all over Europe and other regions of the world, to advance policy actions, and industrial and research activities in the areas of Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This year, the event took place in Prague, Czech Republic, on November 21-23, with the central theme of “At the Heart of the Ecosystem for Data and AI”.

During the 2nd day of the EBDVF22, the data industry professionals IDSA successfully presented the project, focusing on how data and metadata management can be assembled along relevant requirements, providing open source and commercial tools (i.e., the bricks/bri-X), and mechanisms deployed into Data Spaces. The aim is to continue making Europe the most successful area in the world in terms of data sharing and data re-use, while respecting the legal framework relating to security and privacy.

IDSA presented the project’s objectives and methodology, and made a brief reference to the DataBri-X holistic, energy-efficient, and user-friendly ToolBox of practical, robust and scalable bricks/Bri-X (processes, technologies and tools). The project partner IDSA explained how the DataBri-X ToolBox aims to improve the interoperability, usability, discoverability, quality, and integrity of data and metadata, with the scope of making data sets ready for expanded digital value creation in the context of European Data Spaces.
