META-FORUM is the international conference series on powerful and innovative Language Technologies for the multilingual information society. It is the place to be to find out more about the most recent developments and achievements in European Language Technology and language-centric AI.

META-FORUM 2023 was held in Brussels, Belgium, on the 27th of June 2023. In this year’s edition, participants learned more about the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) towards Digital Language Equality for a multilingual Europe and initiatives such as the Language Data Space (LDS) and the emerging Language EDIC.

ARC, the Project Coordinator of DataBri-X attended the conference organised by DFKI that ranks among the important Centres of Excellence worldwide, and is the leading AI research center in Germany. DFKI had the “German Research Centre for AI” in the expo program, one of the world’s largest non-profit research institutes for software technology, based on AI methods. The centre is engaged in the development of prototypes and patentable solutions in the area of information and communication technology (ICT) and collaborates with stakeholders and organisations to promote Germany’s role as a global leader in the development of cutting-edge solutions in research and technology. 

ARC and DFKI presented the DataBri-X flyers, and disseminated the project to the attendees who were interested in learning more about the project.
