The European Big Data Value Forum 2023 (EBDVF 2023) will take place in Valencia, Spain on 25 – 27 October and the central theme of this year’s edition is “Data and AI in action: Sustainable impact and future realities”. EBDVF is the flagship event of the European Big Data Value and Data-Driven AI Research and Innovation community. The programme includes the most important topics presented by leaders, experts, researchers, and practitioners, and with representation of multiple research, innovation, and deployment projects. Over 40 sessions and several plenary sessions will cover topics such as Data Spaces, trustworthy AI, metaverse, computing continuum and High-performance computing from the perspective of many European sectors especially focusing on smart cities, energy, healthcare, manufacturing and automotive industries, not forgetting the societal, economic and environmental implications of the rapidly advancing technologies.

EBDVF 2023 is organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), in collaboration with ITI (Investigate to Innovate), INCLIVA VLC (Biomedical Research Institute), Polytechnic University of Madrid (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid), Polytechnic University of Valencia (Universitat Politicnica de Valencia), and the European Commission (DG CNECT), and under the Spanish European Council presidency auspices.

The DataBri-X partners SWC and IDSA will attend the event to represent the project. Specifically, they will present the results of the DataBri-X Workshop that was successfully implemented at the Semantics Leipzig event in September 2023.
